Spare the flowers from being beheaded, and eat those chocolates yourself, because if you *really* want to show how much you love someone: just give them your heart. :) It's full of iron and juicy protein, and makes a delicious snack for your chosen Lord/Lady of Unutterable Darkness. ^_^ Speaking of which, this one is finished at last : "He must indeed have been that Voivode Dracula ... Then was he no common man; for in that time, and for centuries after, he was spoken of as the cleverest and the most cunning, as well as the bravest of the sons of the ‘land beyond the forest'. That mighty brain and that iron resolution went with him to his grave, and are even now arrayed against us." ~Dracula, #BramStoker. #Dracula rises from his own death, wrapped in his shroud, and grown young again from the unfortunates you can still glimpse scattered amid the rubble of his shattered tomb. The original #painting is in #acrylics, pencils, pastels, inks, 3x gold paints, gold paste, dutch leaf, and pure 22k #goldleaf; and measures A3 (30 x 40cm, 11.5 x 16.5 inches) It's due to be printed as a basecard for the forthcoming set 'Iconic Literature' from Iconic Creations, out very soon."When my brain says “Come!” to you, you shall cross land or sea to do my bidding." ~#Dracula, #BramStoker. Last work-in-progress peek before he reveals himself in all his finished, #goldleaf, vampy campy glory."He may not enter anywhere at the first, unless there be some one of the household who bid him to come; though afterwards he can come as he please." ~ #Dracula, #BramStoker #WorkInProgress: the Count gains a little colour and a lot of gold. (Dutch gold and pure gold leaf, over gold paste to give it the impasto texture.)'His face was hard, and cruel, and sensual, with big white teeth pointed like an animal's that looked all the whiter because his lips were so red. ... "I believe it is the Count, but he has grown young. My God, if this be so! Oh, my God, My God!" ' ~#Dracula, by Bram Stoker. In graphite for now: a #composition for the infamous undead count. #Dracula rises. 🦇 The finished painting will be printed as a trading card for Iconic Creations' set 'Iconic Literature', out soon.
